In 1961 Kenya was a British colony. Obama's father was a British citizen. If Obama was born in Kenya, he would have been issued a British Passport and his birth would have been recorded by the office of Sir. Edward F. Lavender who was the British colonial minister for records in Mombasa, Kenya in 1961. That record doesn't exist. Fox news sent a reporter to Hawaii and found two notices of Obama's birth in two different local newspapers from 1961 and a lot of people remember it.
But wait. John McCain was born in Panama. In case you haven't noticed, Panama is a foreign country. Even though the United States used to control the Canal Zone, it was still in Panama. Congress simply declared McCain 'Natural born' by passing a bill and if it had been necessary they could have done the same with Obama. Even if Obama HAD been born in Kenya, he is an American citizen for exactly the same reason John McCain is. I was born in Germany. I am an American citizen by birth. The founding fathers never defined 'natural born'.
I'll bet the birth certificate you saw said "Dominion of Kenya", didn't it.

In Feb 1964 that it was not clear that a Republic was in the works, and forms were certainly not being printed - even if they were, they would not have said 'Dominion of Kenya". According to Kenya,
colonial-era documents were marked "Colony and Protectorate of Kenya", while Republic-era are "Government of Kenya". Stamps in the Dominion period just said KENYA. Republic of Kenya Stamps were issued Dec 12, 1964.----
