Dear Mr. President, You stepped up at an interesting time. Maybe you thought it was just another political race, but it wasn't. And maybe you thought racism was dead in America but it isn't. None of that matters. Where you were born doesn't matter. But one thing DOES matter.
You stepped up at a critical time in history. The next few years will mean the difference between whether America lives as a world power or becomes a third-world nation. I am sure none of that occurred to you during the campaign, but here we are. We are at the crossroads between the fall of America and our continuance as a world power. Sir, you have to step up. The Congress is pissing down your back. The Supreme court just rendered a verdict that literally means America can be sold to the highest bidder. YOU are the man in the chair. If you win, you will remembered in sentences which include the names Lincoln, Jefferson and Washington. If you fail, the only thing the world will remember is that America was destroyed by a black man. It's not fair, but there it is. And it will cause ripples which will destroy society....not just ours. ALL of it.Start thinking about what you are doing, Sir. Do not listen to people whose paychecks depend on how they advise you. Do the right thing and do it now. You are out of time and you are out of political capital. You have nothing left to lose but my country.
