A friend just recycled my words from years ago.

This was my advice for why people who wanted to sell their homes should have done so in a timely manner.  Please note the date.

And as a result of the California fires, which insurance companies do not cover,  the only people who are going to be buying homes for the next...year?  Are cash buyers.  Which puts your house at the top of the market if you want to sell it.

The economy is going to shit. Next year and then in two more years after Obama is elected. When it all collapses, you will have to survive from where you are with what you have in your pockets. Most people won't be able to. I am going to become self-sufficient within two years.
