Elevated background.

My personal alert levels are as follows.  I base these SOLELY on my PERSONAL observations.  They are not official and they are not meaningful to  anyone except me.

Having said that, I am not yet prepared to quantify this because I'm not sure how far up the scale goes....but we can at least set a baseline.

(1) Background
(2) Elevated background
(3) Attention
(4) Caution
(5) Warning
(6) Danger

At 18:30, Monday,  25 April, 2011, I am reading elevated background radiation on all scales of my A/B/G meter.  I anticipate this will continue through Friday, 29 April 29, 2011, with possibly higher readings as Friday approaches.

This is not cause for alarm.  The readings are merely abnormal, not dangerous.  Nothing is required.  These readings are lower than typical radon readings in many states. 

Should this change, I will report it.  I have an audible alarm set which will trigger upon unusually high radiation readings.

Until then, go forth and sin no more.  :-)
