They poured liquid nitrogen in it.

But you know that because I said earlier in the week they were going to - except at the time they had the liquid nitrogen positioned outside reactor 2 - which has a fuel pool.  Reactor 3's fuel pool disappeared as far as I know - it was above the reactor and the reactor blew up.

So is there a typographical error?  Do they really mean reactor 2; or does reactor 3 have a ground-level fuel pool; or are they talking about reactor 3 at the Daini plant instead of Daiichi?

It's difficult to know.  No one in the for-profit nuclear industry (in any country) seems to be able to tell the truth.  But let me tell you that the industry intends to keep expanding - both in Japan and in the US - because there is money in it.

Tokyo. Experts at the Fukushima NPP managed to decrease the temperature of the pool at reactor No 3 of the plant and stopped the evaporation of radioactive water, ITAR-TASS reports.
According to information provided by Tokyo Electric Power, the temperature has been decreased to 40°C.
