The one and only time I prepared Christmas dinner. It tasted just like it sounds.

Christmas, 2011 dinner menu  


Served at 2pm on Christmas day


APPETIZER

freshly picked fruit bar

Fresh large mushrooms crowns baked with cream, butter and brie filling


SOUP

Jumbo prawns in a heavy cream sauce with clams and baby new potatoes


SALAD

Fresh lettuce and cherry tomato quarters, lightly drizzled with artichoke oil

Whole prawn salad with REAL EVOO and red wine vinegar

garden salad du jour


ENTREE’

Extra rare/rare roasted prime rib au jus

horseradish

artichoke hearts


SERVED WITH

Twice-baked stuffed potatoes, sour cream, brie cheese, condiments

Fresh croissants


DESSERT

Fried Apple bananas with choice of

melted Belgian chocolate truffles

and/or

pure, light American Maple syrup

and/or

Fresh hot American apple pie with home made double French vanilla ice cream
